In 2008, Hiroko made a set of silver cufflinks for Neil’s birthday. She noticed these pieces had fallen out of fashion, yet she wanted to create an embellishment he could wear without constraining the hand or wrist. The gift was a hit, launching the hk+np line with our trademark emphasis on space and form.

The Petal, Clover and Q series cufflinks give three-dimensional shape to a piece that has traditionally been flat. They’re designed for people of all genders – and they always make a statement. Sterling Silver, Vermeil, & Akoya Japanese jewelry

Our jewelry is made from nickel-free 925 sterling silver, with three different finishing options. Mirror is a highly polished, reflective surface. Matte is a micro bead-blasted matte finish. Scratch is a texturing technique that produces tiny parallel lines. All jewelry is also available in gold and platinum, by special request.
