hk+np studio is pleased to announce that we are releasing our new Lunar Ring for the 2019 Spring / Summer season.

The Lunar ring places an 8.5 mm Akoya pearl in perpetual balance between grace and strength, with a seamless silver band to secure the gem in place. We use Akoya pearls for their exceptional beauty and lustre. Harvested in Hiroko’s native Japan, they also provide a meaningful connection to our mothers, grandmothers, and the incredible women who wore these strands and stones before us.

Signifying wisdom, clarity, and loyalty, the pearl glows with a diffused inner light. It’s the only gem to come from a living creature – a natural prize as luminous as the full moon. While pearls can evoke the classic glamour of Hepburn and Chanel, their clean simplicity feels decidedly modern.

Our jewelry is handcrafted in Japan using only the finest materials and craftsmanship.
